Laminate Veneer Crown

This treatment is a kind of fixed partial denture. The difference from the classical fixed partial denture is the preparations made on the tooth surface, that is, the amount of cutting on the tooth surface. In this treatment, preperation is done where needed, and the amount is determined by the material that is used not lose its physical and optical properties.

In Laminate Veneer Crowns, the preperation is made only on the labial parts of the teeth. The amount of this preperation is determined according to the desired tooth size after the treatment. If a more anteriorly positioned tooth is desired, the amount of cut made from the tooth is very small.

If the shape of the teeth is suitable, treatment can be performed without any preperation on the teeth surface which is called 'prepless laminate'.
